At the Royal Welsh Show last week, we launched our consultation on the future of Welsh farming support. We are developing alternative plans to Labour and Plaid’s disastrous ‘Sustainable Farming Scheme’. These proposals would have cost 5,500 jobs and hit the rural economy by £200 million.
Over the course of the Royal Welsh Show we receive responses from a range of key stakeholders from active farmers and landowners. As Welsh Conservative Party members, we value your expertise and input into our policy development, and we would like your views on our plan for a “Welsh Farming and Countryside Scheme”.
You can complete a snapshot survey or download the full consultation in the word document here.
The consultation is open until midnight on Thursday 5 September with a full launch of the scheme at the Winter Fair on Monday 25 November.
