We were thrilled that Jeremy Hunt MP, agreed to meet members at Foyles, Glasbury for an afternoon buffet during his time in the constiuency for Hay Festival.
Introduced by Association Chair Peter Weavers, Jeremy Hunt has been a Member of Parliament for South West Surrey since 2005, serving in the Coalition Government as Culture Secretary and Minister for the Olympics from 2010 to 2012, and as Secretary of State for Health, later Health and Social Care, from 2012 to 2018, under both David Cameron and Theresa May. He became the longest-serving Health Secretary in British political history. As a candidate in the 2019 leadership election Jeremy finished second to Boris Johnson.
