The total number of unemployed claimants in Brecon and Radnorshire constituency in July 2017 was 345.
This represents a rate of 1.1% of the economically active population aged 16-64, the 554th highest of the 650 UK constituencies. (1st = highest claimant rate, 650th = lowest claimant rate.)
The equivalent UK claimant rate was 2.5%. The UK unemployment rate, which includes people not claiming benefits and is estimated from survey data, was 4.4% between April and June 2017.
The number of claimants in Brecon and Radnorshire constituency is the same as in July 2016 and 35 lower than June 2017.
There were 85 claimants aged 18-24 in July 2017, 5 lower than July 2016.
