James Evans MS & Fay Jones MP announce Christmas card competition winner
Brecon and Radnorshire’s politicians have announced the winner of their Christmas card competition. This year’s card competition was open to school children across the constituency aged 18 and under, with the theme “your favourite place in Brecon and Radnorshire”.
The winner, George Simmonds, a pupil at Archdeacon Griffiths Church in Wales Primary school sent in a picture of sheep on the Begwyns. The winning card was presented to the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and will be Fay and James’s joint Christmas card for 2022. Their card will be sent to schools and local people in the community.
They said “The standard of entries was incredibly high, and we loved looking at all of the photographs. We would like to thank everyone who entered the competition".
